Qwrki

HubSpot setup guide

Updated 26 October 2026

What it does

Qwrki connects your organisation to a HubSpot account so your team can read its contacts and deals, review imported records and use the supported integration actions.

Before you start

You need permission to manage integrations in Qwrki and permission to install an app in the HubSpot account you intend to connect. Check that you are using the right organisation and company before authorising access.

Install and connect

  1. In Qwrki, open Integrations and choose HubSpot.
  2. Choose Connect and sign in to the HubSpot account you want to use.
  3. Review the permissions and authorise the connection in HubSpot.
  4. Return to the HubSpot page in Qwrki to check the connection and its records.

Permissions

The required permissions are oauth, crm.objects.deals.read, crm.objects.contacts.read. They allow the account connection and reading HubSpot deals and contacts.

The optional write scopes crm.objects.deals.write and crm.objects.contacts.write are requested only when the deployment writes gate is enabled. The per-connection Writes switch does not request these permissions; reconnect if a supported action needs a permission that the current grant does not hold.

After connecting

Open the HubSpot page and use Sync now to read the available figures. Open Records to review imported contacts and deals. Start the contact import if it has not run, and choose a sync schedule if you want automatic updates.

An incomplete import is shown as incomplete. Stored records are not a promise that every HubSpot object has been imported. Qwrki also accepts the supported contact and deal change notices from HubSpot.

Writes and approvals

Qwrki must have HubSpot writes switched on for this deployment, and Writes must be ON for this connection, before supported HubSpot writes can run.

The connection's Writes switch is separate from its HubSpot permissions and starts OFF. Turning Writes ON does not grant a Qwrki role or skip an approval. Supported contact, deal-stage and note actions still require the relevant permissions and approvals.

Disconnect

Open the HubSpot integration in Qwrki and choose Disconnect. The confirmation explains when a shared HubSpot grant is kept because another connection still uses it.

The records page also offers disconnecting with deletion of imported records. Read the confirmation for the numbers deleted or kept.

Uninstall from HubSpot

In HubSpot, open Settings, Integrations, Connected apps, select Qwrki and choose Uninstall.

If HubSpot rejects the stored access grant, Qwrki marks the connection as needing reconnection. Reconnect from Qwrki if you want to use it again.

What happens to your data

Disconnecting or uninstalling does not automatically erase Qwrki customers or leads you created from imported records. Use Qwrki's data controls for those records. The disconnect confirmation reports which imported records were deleted or kept.

The privacy policy explains how Qwrki handles personal data. The terms explain use of the service.

Support
