Qwrki

Shopify setup guide

Updated 26 October 2026

What it does

Qwrki connects your organisation to a Shopify store so your team can read its orders, customers, draft orders and products, and use the supported order actions.

Before you start

Connecting Shopify needs an admin of this organisation. You also need access to the store's Shopify admin. Sign in to the right organisation before opening the app from Shopify.

Development stores today; merchant stores after Shopify's review.

Install and connect

  1. In your Shopify admin, install or open the Qwrki SaaS app.
  2. On the Qwrki install page, choose Connect Shopify for your store.
  3. Open the Shopify page in Qwrki and use Sync now to read the available figures.

Permissions

The install grants only the required reads, shown below. They allow reading Shopify orders, customers, draft orders and products.

Order changes are requested later: read_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_discounts, write_draft_orders, write_merchant_managed_fulfillment_orders, write_orders. Open the Qwrki app in your Shopify admin and press Allow order changes to let AI Employees create draft orders and change orders, and admins mark orders fulfilled and give goodwill discount codes.

  • read_customers
  • read_draft_orders
  • read_orders
  • read_products

After connecting

In your Shopify admin, open Apps, then Qwrki to open the embedded app page.

To connect a different store, disconnect the current one from Integrations first, then open the app again from the new store's Shopify admin.

Writes and approvals

Qwrki must have Shopify writes switched on for this deployment, and Writes must be ON for this connection, before supported Shopify writes can run.

The connection's Writes switch is separate from its Shopify permissions and starts OFF. Turning Writes ON does not grant a Qwrki role or skip an approval.

Disconnect

Open the Shopify integration in Qwrki and choose Disconnect.
